In 4-6 weeks, we will be grandparents! Our daughter Amy and her husband Adam are soon to be parents of their first son, Swen Michael Lilly. Due date is actually July 28, however Swen is a big baby according to the doctor and will probably come early. Given the heights of both Van Alstine and Lilly families, no one is surprised. He is already cute at 6-months in the womb. Thank you, Swen, for reminding us how precious life is, and how we are "...fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14 NIV) How can anyone, after seeing this photo, think that he is just a "fetus" and not a living human being? Thank you, God that"...like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day." (Psalm 139:16 The Message)
