Here's some photos from my recent trip to Arizona - Swen is now 4 months old. http://picasaweb.google.com/DanandDebVanAlstine/NovemberVisit4MonthsOld.
What a great daughter I have ... when I opened the door at Dan's parents' house, there was Swen in the doorway in his carseat. Amy planned it all along to be there during my visit. Dan's parents took a well-deserved few days off to travel up north, so it was the 3 of us just like old times, watching Andy Griffith shows, great movies, joking and laughing, and the bonus of getting to spend time with Swen. I even volunteered to change dirty diapers. I can't imagine any other baby loved as much as Swen, except for how much Dan and I love Amy. What a beautiful young lady she is, if I do say so myself :).
Mahalo to everyone who continue praying for us and supporting us. It's been a long wait, but you have made it easier. Much love and aloha to everyone.

Betty and I want you to know that we are praying for you and Debbie knowing that God will provide. There is a song by Casting Crowns, "Praise You in the Storm," that I encourage you to look up on youtube and listen. It gave me great comfort and incredible strength during my recent battle with cancer.
We were members of Mililani Baptist Church way back in 1989 -1992. I was a military finance guy working on Schofield Barracks. Our daughter Melissa was in your youth group and we still enjoy looking at the old video tapes from our time in Hawaii. You and Debbie can take credit on having such a positive influence in helping her develop as a young Christian.
We're in Kansas now attending Westside Family Church.

Dan,
I tried to send a comment a few weeks ago but Debbie told me it didn't go thru. We are glad you are back on the list. If you don't get back to your original spot give me a call and I'll see what I can do. Ha Ha. Things are good in the Anderson household. We just got back from the UH football game. Exciting. The whole town is a buzz. Have you been able to keep up with the Warriors? Jesse is 4 months now, looks just like Noah. Ethan, our almost 2 year old, at this age is the pill of the group. We love'em. robin will send you pics of the kids soon. My parents are enjoying Austin Tx. They'll be here in Hawaii in January. We saw them for a week in October visiting Disney and San Diego, right before the wildfires. They are lovin the kids. We will try to keep you in the loop with our lives, considering your blog has been great for keep us up on your happenings. Tell Amy we said HI.We keep you in our prayers. Your faithfulness is inspirational.
Love,
Steve and Robin
